Another Greatest & Latest Concert presented by PCSO, Smart Infinity, and RJFM – The Icons of the 60’s & 70”s was held at the Captain’s Bar of the Mandarin Hotel.
It was a happy and groovy trip down memory lane on October 14, 2009, as the audience was captured by RJ and Friends and Rene Garcia of the Hotdog Band. RJ performed his original compositions such as Muli, and Sugat Ng Puso, and Fran in front of a jam packed audience. Smart Infinity gave away prizes to lucky raffle winners, and revealed their innovations and promos. Then Hotdog took the stage and Rene Garcia and Mazo Diez wowed the crowd with the original Hotdog hits like Annie Batungbakal. Miss Universe, and Manila. The dancing went into a frenzy when Hotdog and RJ jammed performing Bongga Ka Day, and I Love the Nightlife, and other disco songs from the 70’s.
Beautiful people such as fashion guru Lulu Tan Gan, Rolly Garcia of Asia Trust Bank, Rupert Jacinto, Jojo Zabarte, and friends showed off their dance moves including a soul train that went all around the Captain’s Bar of the Mandarin Hotel. It was a night of dancing, laughter, and fun. This Greatest & Latest Concert featuring RJ and Hotdog will not be forgotten!
